We accept Medicaid and most major insurance plans — because the families who need this care most shouldn’t be the ones priced out of it. Nutrition visits are typically covered as medical nutrition therapy (MNT) when there’s a qualifying diagnosis, and most of our families pay little to nothing out of pocket. Not sure about your plan? UPDATE: As our Community Feeding Team grows, coverage now spans more than nutrition. Our occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and mental health clinicians each carry their own insurance coverage, which varies by plan and by discipline — so what’s covered for a dietitian visit may differ for feeding therapy or mental health support.
